Julie Benz, who recently appeared opposite Sylvester Stallone in RAMBO, will return to the big screen this fall in BOONDOCK SAINTS II: ALL SAINTS DAY with Judd Nelson and Sean Patrick Flanery, the sequel to the 1999 hit film. Benz will appeared in the Lifetime film Held Hostage and the Hallmark film Uncorked this winter. In 2008, Benz headlined the horror franchise SAW V and the dark action flick PUNISHER: WAR ZONE based on the classic comic book series. For her work on DEXTER, Benz won the 2006 Golden Satellite Award. Prior to her celebrated role on DEXTER, Benz was best known for her role as the evil vampire 'Darla' on the critically-acclaimed series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and continued on Angel.
On the big screen, Benz had a great turn with Jack Nicholson in AS GOOD AS IT GETS as 'Ursula' and starred with Rose McGowan, Pam Grier, Judy Greer and Rebecca Gayheart in the cult hit JAWBREAKER. Some of Benz's other notable television credits include roles on the sci-fi series Roswell with Katherine Heigl, Supernatural, as well as the Steven Spielberg-produced miniseries Taken.
